About Our Founder
Jenny, the creator and founder of Al Fresko, is a surfer, coffee lover, and passionate traveler with a deep appreciation for exploring new corners of the world. When she’s not crafting farm-to-table spreads or designing luxury outdoor experiences, you can find her south of the border, chasing sunsets and catching waves.
After living abroad in Bali and Byron Bay—where she first encountered the Australian grazing sensation—Jenny returned to her seaside home in San Diego, California. What began as a self-care sabbatical turned into the inspiration for Al Fresko.
Growing up in Texas, Jenny developed a deep connection to food through the kitchen, where it served as a space for family bonding. Following the loss of all four grandparents to cancer and disease at an early age, Jenny committed herself to studying nutrition at the Institute for Integrative Nutrition. She’s dedicated to educating others on the power of real, nourishing food and its connection to health and wellness.
Her love for hosting and creating abundant spreads has allowed her to travel the world, following her dream of uniting people through food and shared experiences. Jenny believes that magic happens when you follow what makes your heart race, even if it starts as just a thought. She encourages others to listen to their internal inklings and pursue what truly excites them.
